Jordan West was born in Northern Ontario in the dead of winter, which basically explains her innate anger towards menial things. In 1996, her family relocated to Vancouver Island because the pain of Tupac Shakur’s death was too much to handle. Jordan has written counter-culture columns for a number of publications, all of which were eaten alive by the age of technology. Fed up with gratuitous Facebook posting and free favors for musician friends, she decided to spend her life savings writing this book. Jordan currently resides in Vancouver, Canada in a relatively affordable, rent-controlled apartment on the West Side with her asshole cat and Siamese fighting fish that was last seen two weeks ago.
